You can renew items borrowed form the University of Michigan Flint and Ann Arbor libraries as long as you haven't gotten an email telling you there is a hold on the item or the item has not gone into a long overdue or "Lost" status.

You can renew items by

  • coming into the UM-Flint library and visiting the Circulation Desk,
  • calling the Flint Circulation desk at (810) 762-3400, or
  • logging into your online Library Catalog account.

To renew the book online, login into the Library Catalog with your uniqname and password, using the Account link in the upper right hand corner of the Library Catalog [image]. Once you're logged in, you will see your Account Overview, including a link to Current Checkouts.

Follow the Current Checkouts link and click "Renew" next to the title(s) you'd like to renew, or click "Renew all.  just above the list.

Materials checked out at any UM-Ann Arbor library can be returned at UM-Flint. (Exception: Course Reserve materials must be returned to the lending library). Books are considered "back in Ann Arbor" the day you hand them to us.

Circulation desk staff at the lending library can explain specific renewal policies.
