Alumni will only get access to some online library resources by joining the University of Michigan Alumni Association. Currently, those resources are Vault, ProQuest, and Project MUSE.

All guests can use Thompson Library online resources at one of the public workstations on the 3rd floor of the library for an hour at a time or use the MGuest wireless network.

Alumni can check out materials in the main (circulating) collection with a community borrower's card. These cards are valid on the Flint or Ann Arbor campuses for one year, and can be purchased for $25 for UM alumni to access Flint materials, $125 for UM alumni to access Flint and Ann Arbor materials, and $250 for the general public to access Flint and Ann Arbor materials.

Ask a librarian if you have any questions.
