Films and videos at the Ann Arbor campus are housed in the Askwith Media Library, on the 2nd floor of the Shapiro Undergraduate Library. The collection is in closed stacks, but you can find visual materials in the Library catalog.

UM-Flint faculty and staff can have Askwith Media Library materials sent to the Flint campus using the Get This option in the Library Catalog and then scheduling an approximate pick up date. Look up an item in the Library Catalog, go to the Askwith Media Library holdings, click the Advanced Booking button, and login using UMICH authentication. As of August 2021, requested items will be sent to the Frances Willson Thompson Circulation desk for pick up instead of to faculty offices.

UM-Flint students can check out up to three items in person (one time, no renewals), or view them in-house. For in-house viewing, you should call in advance for an appointment (and to allow them time to retrieve the video from storage in some cases).
