Q. How do I search databases from home?

To access restricted library databases from off campus, you must have a UM-Flint uniqname and password.

Whenever you want to use a restricted library resource, simply click on the link. If you are on campus, you will go directly into the resource. If you are off campus, a Thompson Library login screen will appear; enter your uniqname and password. Library logins use Duo two-factor authentication for security purposes.

If you have a link to a resource (e.g. an article you emailed yourself from a database) and it doesn't let you in from off campus, you may need to add information to the web address. You can do this with a bookmarklet.
