Q. How do I get a certificate for the Avoiding Plagiarism course?

Hosted through the UM-Flint Professional Development storefront, you will need to enroll, then watch the lecture videos and complete the review quiz in order to earn the certificate. There is no cost to enroll in this course and the certificate expires after 18 months.

To enroll:

1. Click the enroll button on the course’s page, then click enroll again in your cart.
2. The enrollment will be pending for a few minutes, but the screen will eventually say “ready to begin.” 
3. The course can then be accessed in your Canvas Dashboard.

After you complete the course, you should receive a certificate from Canvas by email. If you do not receive it by email you are able to log back into professional development catalog and download it from the Completed Course list in your Student Dashboard.
